What to expect

As a frontend developer at Constell you will work on the core systems of our SaaS product. You will be developing solutions across our frontend that will directly affect all users of the system. Solutions will need to be designed with scalability and usability in mind.

We are looking for someone who is product-focussed and is able to contribute to making the product better. This means you will be working with UI/UX, sales and other developers to come up with the best solution for the issue at hand.

What you will do

• Architect and implement solutions in our frontend services
• Offers substantive guidance to the other frontend developers (in senior lead position)
• Collaborate with the other teams (backend, UI/UX, sales) to own your solution from start to deployment.
• Monitor production systems and troubleshoot issues if needed.

What you will bring

• Medior: 3-5 years / senior lead: 5+ years of experience in frontend development
• Vue.js 3: Proficient in developing complex user interfaces and applications using Vue.js 3 framework.
• TypeScript: Strong understanding and practical experience in TypeScript for writing scalable and maintainable codebases.
• JavaScript: Expertise in core JavaScript concepts and modern ECMAScript standards.
• GraphQL: Proficiency in implementing GraphQL APIs and integrating them into front-end applications.
• Git & GitHub: Advanced knowledge of version control using Git and collaborating effectively with teams using GitHub.
• Jira: Experience in project management and issue tracking using Jira for agile software development workflows.
• Custom API Data Fetching: Proficiency in fetching data from custom APIs and integrating it into front-end applications using GraphQL endpoints.
• A full-stack mindset that will be able to think about all aspects of the application ecosystem when designing solutions.
• Mastering the English language in both written and verbal form is required.
• Good communication skills.
• Pre: Experience with Vite, Histoire, Vitest, Cypress, Eslint, Prettier, and Bun

We are located in a beautiful and historic warehouse on the Brouwersgracht, right in the heart of Amsterdam. The office has everything including a rooftop terrace. We have created a great working space with highly sociable colleagues who bounce off each other’s energy. In this team, you’ll be in charge and responsible for your own work. However your work will contribute to our important common goal: supporting the venues that use our SaaS product. If they are happy, we are happy!

• Salary medior: €3.500 – €4.500 / Salary senior lead: €4.500 – €6.000 p.m. (based on 40 hours per week, depending on experience).
